Where is the money of our customers kept?

The money of our customers is held within segregated accounts in Central Banks within Europe to ensure protection.

A segregated account is separate from other accounts and safeguards from any kind of intermingling and/or foreclosure.

How does Em@ney plc protect my data?

Em@ney plc does not share your company's personal information or financial data with anyone. We only ask for the information we deem necessary.

Em@ney plc has appointed a "Data Protection Officer (DPO)", in accordance with Article 37 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, and identified him within its organization.

The Data Protection Officer is a new figure whose role is to monitor compliance with the Regulation itself, assessing the risks, for those concerned (customers, potential customers, employees, suppliers), of any processing of personal data carried out by Em@ney.

How do I become an Em@ney customer?

You can open an account directly from our website.

My identification document has expired. Can I still use the expired document to open an Em@ney account?

No, Em@ney accepts valid documents ONLY.

On which devices is the Em@ney Home Banking available?

You can access your home banking from any device supporting an internet browser.

What are the access codes?

The codes for accessing your Home Banking:
- Username: the e-mail certified and verified during the registration
- the 8-digit password you created during registration or when accessing the Home Banking for the first time;
- the 6 to 8-digit One Time Password (OTP) that you will receive on your mobile phone at the phone number verified during registration or generated by the authenticator;
- Account ID: the number automatically associated with your account once registration is successful.

I cannot access my account! What should I do?

How should i get in touch with the customer service?

What is the processing time for a SEPA Credit Transfer?

A SEPA Credit Transfer is processed within 24 business hours.

Where can I find the receipt of my transactions?

A receipt for every transaction ordered is readily available and printable following every successful transaction as instructed and authorised on your side.

To download it, log in to your home banking, access your account statement and locate the transaction which you wish to download the receipt for, click on the button with 3 dots at the far right of the row, from there a menu enabling you to download the receipt will pop up

To make a transfer abroad, do I choose SEPA or non-SEPA transfers?

The acronym SEPA means 'Single Euro Payments Area' comprising all countries of the European Union and some extra EU that have decided to participate in the payment circuit. Before transferring money, check which country the account of the beneficiary is located in.

SEPA transfers can be effected in euro currency only. if you wish to settle payments in a currency other than the euro and/or in a country outside the SEPA area, you may order extra SEPA credit transfers from your home banking.

Which countries participate in the sepa scheme?

Here is the list: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, San Marino, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Monaco, Andorra and the Vatican City.

My transfer has been reversed! what should I do?

There may be instances which can result in a reversed transfer. Some of the common reason why a reversal occurs are a misspelt beneficiary name or wrong IBAN.

Kindly ensure that the name of the beneficiary or company name is typed correctly. Double-check the IBAN provided by the beneficiary of the transfer.
